The National Trust is restoring 50 hectares of farm
meadows to re-establish a wetland environment suitable
for over-wintering wildfowl.

This involves the creation of four shallow scrapes between
a half and an eighth of a hectare in size and the
excavation of a dipping pond.

Work will start in late October and take between six and
eight weeks to complete, during which time some
footpaths may be temporarily closed or diverted and the
car park will be closed to all traffic.

The nearest alternative car park is at Pamphill Green

We apologise for any inconvenience this will cause.
