26jan2007. Gort the scarecrow. Skeleton B+Q 50mm piping and joints, clothing left-overs from author's walking holiday, stuffed with bubble-wrap, head a cork float found in Outer Hebrides, hat from Oxfam.

31mar2007. Ash stripped by trapped deer Author left deer fence gate open over-night. Stag stripped this young ash and some 9 others. Amazingly, the tree kept growing well above the ring-barking.

11may2006. Spraying Field #4 to get rid of thistles.

Four of our fields were sprayed with Depitox to inhibit thistles. Organised by a friendly neighbouring farmer, OM.
