Pictures of little oaks 2004

A cross section of Quercus robur saplings which were acorns in Nov 2000. Grown in pots, planted into a pasture field in Feb 2004. The position is marked with a bamboo pole and the sapling surrounded by a mulch mat 1m x 1m. An ID number is painted on the mat. See: Map, size and progress
