• 8 Jul 07 A few small rooted bits of Yellow Flag Iris planted in East side of the scrape. Plants came from home (similar planting done on 6 Jun 07).
• 20 Jun 07 1 packet of "Pondside Companions" seeds from "NPK Landscapes" scattered around scrape sides.
• 24 Mar 07 2 packets of annual wildflower seeds from "Naked X" scattered on 3 small bare areas in nursery.

• 9 Nov 06: 2 large "packets" of annual wildflower seeds ("Annual Surprise" from NPK Landscapes) scattered on the recently cleared of topsoil bit of the old "veggie patch".
• 7 Nov 06: 200gm packet of "Old English Country Meadow + Johnsons Grass Seed" (from SCATS) scattered on the "UFO". ("munro" of grass sods + a small amount of topsoil and gravel).
• 1 Oct 06: Sprinkled the remainder of my collected annual wildflower seeds on the now bare area where the recently moved "munro" had been and also the bare area where the sieved topsoil had been. (Areas are in the old "veggie patch").
• 21 Sep 06: More Creeping Buttercup moved as on 18 Sep 06.
• 19 Sep 06: More Creeping Buttercup moved except these plants came from the old "veggie patch".

• 18 Aug 06: Scattered a few Poppy seeds on the "crud" pile beside the hump.
• 16 Aug 06: Moved some Purple Loosestrife from the pond/well bowl and replanted it in the south side of the scrape. Some small rooted bits planted in the east side of the scrape.

A bit of Hornwort, from pond/well, chucked in the scrape. (This was rescued from a pile that had been out of water for more than 24 hours and most of it had dried out.)

• 28 Apr 06:The germinated bog-loving wildflower seeds were carefully moved from the "island" in the "scrape" to the bowl side of the pond/well, below the bath where they should get plenty of water.

  AFTERTHOUGHTS:
  1. In Jul 2004 I planted another root of Yellow Flag Iris in the pond/well bowl side.
  2. In autumn/winter 2003 I chucked old Purple Loosestrife stems in the pond/well. (These were cut from home pond and were full of seeds.)
  3. In Nov 2003 3 Yellow Flag Iris roots were planted in the bowl sides of the pond/well.
  4. In summer/autumn 2003 Bog Bean cuttings and 1 rooted Water 'Forget-me-not' were chucked in the pond/well. 4 Water Starwort plants, bought from Haskins, placed on the bottom of the pond/well, 6 bunches of Hornwort, collected from home ponds, chucked in the pond/well and Water Mint cuttings also thrown in.
  5. In late summer 2003 I scattered garden meadow cuttings alongside the east ditch.
