Postmortem for CBP 1957

Charles Bernard Palmer died near or at Waterloo Station on his way from work in the Embankment to his home at Twickenham, London. He died about 4.55pm on 17 Jan 1957, aged 52, and was taken to St Thomas' Hospital, close to Waterloo. Next day a post mortem was held, of which this is a report. His son Robert trained as a medical student at St Mary's Paddington, and obtained this report in 1962. CBP had been seriously ill since he was in Vienna, Austria in 1946, when he was brought back to the UK in a Hospital Ship to Southampton.
